Common questions

  • The game serves as a fun way to improve concentration and relaxation. It also serves as a therapeutic aid in therapy with children with ADHD.

  • Star Focus is a game developed in collaboration with therapists that helps children and adults learn concentration and relaxation. You take on the role of Luna, a little girl who collects fallen stars on her ship and returns them to the night sky.

  • The game includes eight rehabilitation exercises that train concentration and relaxation in various ways in a playful manner.

For best results, the game should be played regularly, once every two days (one fifteen-minute session per day) in the same quiet environment. These exercises have been consulted with psychotherapists specializing in ADHD.

  • The player plays as Luna on a boat and sails across the sea. When they encounter a monument—such as a seal in distress—a rehabilitation mini-game is launched that trains concentration or relaxation.

The player must complete three different mini-games in order to finish the day's journey. This "daily dose" of the game lasts approximately 15 minutes.

The game is designed to be endless and can be played repeatedly.

  • Star Focus is primarily for children with ADHD, but anyone who wants to relax or train their concentration can play the game. Even if you don't have ADHD, the game can serve as a preventive measure if you suspect you might have ADHD.

  • The game limits your time by stopping you from earning "points" for playing after 15 minutes of daily play.

For greater restriction, you can set your mobile device to time-limited mode for the game.

  • The game will have a short demo available where players can try out the game. After playing the demo, you will need to purchase the game for the full experience.

  • It is not a substitute, but the game can serve as an excellent rehabilitation supplement to medication

  • The game is compatible with the Mindwave EEG headset, but only in the version of the game that we distribute to qualified therapeutic professionals.

If you are interested in the therapeutic version of the game, please contact us at bellhatgames@gmail.com.
